SPECIFICATION
Nozzle Assembly and Hose
Nozzle assembly shall consist of a ball valve and quick
disconnect coupling system. Ball valve shall be one inch PVC and shall be installed at the
static mixer and acid injection port of the backwash tank as well as nozzle assembly. The
nozzle assembly one inch ball valve shall be PVC.
The nozzle assembly shall have a one inch male portion of
quick disconnect coupling system. Male portion of one inch PVC quick disconnect coupling
system shall be Harrington Plastic Part No. APVC-10 or equal. Female portion of one inch
quick disconnect coupling system on the static mixer and acid injection port of the
backwash tank shall be Harrington Plastic Part No. DPVC-010 or equal. The hose between the
pump outlet and the nozzle assembly shall be 20 feet long and shall be one inch I.D. hose,
suitable for use with the concentrated muriatic acid solution. The hose and nozzle
assembly shall be supplied with all appurtenances to make system complete.
