SPECIFICATION

  1. Metering Pump

    2. The metering pump shall be capable of delivering flow rates between 0 and 20 gallons per hour with independently adjustable stroke length and frequency. The pump shall be capable of injecting acid into line pressures up to 45 psi. The pump shall be a mechanically actuated diaphragm type. Housing shall be made of acrylic resin coated cast aluminum. The pump shall have a PTFE faced EPDM with steel core diaphragm. The pumps wetted parts shall be PTFE. The pump shall have tank low level cut off by means of a signal from a float switch in the tank. The pump shall have a TENV DC motor. Pump stroke frequency control shall be by means of a DC silicon controlled rectifier (SCR). The DC SCR shall accept a 4-20 mA flow signal and convert the signal to a DC voltage. The DC SCR shall include a tachometer to provide feedback to the controller such that the actual motor rpm is proportional to the control signal regardless of the load on the motor. The DC SCR shall operate on 110 VAC, 60Hz, single phase power. Pump shall be ProMinent Meta HM 20-130 T or equal. DC SCR shall be ProMinent Part No. 7.951094.7 or equal.

  2. Pump Accessories

    3. Pump pulsation damper shall have a polypropylene housing with a viton bladder. Pulsation damper shall be 1885 ml. model. Pulsation damper shall be ProMinent Model CT-301 V or equal.

    Pump Section assembly shall include foot valve, suction tube and appurtenances. Pump suction assembly shall be PVC. Pump suction tube shall be *p2513Y suitable length for acid storage tank. Pump suction assembly shall be ProMinent PVC-DN-3/4" or equal.

    Tank float switch shall be polypropylene with polyethelene cable. Tank float switch shall stop pump when a minimum level indication is reached in the acid tank. Tank float switch shall be ProMinent Part No. 142086.8 or equal.

  3. Acid Storage Tank

    4. The acid storage tank shall be self-supporting and made of polyethelyne. The tank shall be provided with a rigid cover. The tank shall have a capacity of at least 35 gallons. The tank shall have a secondary spill containment vessel.
