CALL NOTES

Per telephone conversation with Customer, in an attempt to clarify the bid specification.

1. 4-20 mA signals for pH and flow to be provided by others – no pH or flow equipment is to be included with this bid.

2. Static mixer and acid injection port to be provided by others.

3. The backwash line to be treated is 12" ductile iron.

4. Given the 0 – 20 gph metering pump output, it’s OK to quote a chemical storage tank larger than 35 gallons.

5. The customer is open to using a Digi-Pulse for direct chemical flow measurement rather than the indirect tachometer signal specified, thus allowing the computation of the actual amount of acid necessary to neutralize the pH of the backwash water, as called for.
