FLUORIDATION
CHEMICAL CHOICE
The three common fluoridation chemicals are sodium silicofluoride, sodium fluoride and hydrofluosilicic acid.  This deals with the solution feed systems, utilizing the latter two of these chemicals.

The optimum concentration of fluoride in a public water supply has been set at approximately one part per million (1 ppm) according to the U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services, Center for Disease Control 1982 Fluoridation Handbook. Levels may vary.  Be sure to check with local heath authorities when designing you fluoridation system.
